Questflow, a platform orchestrating AI agents for the emerging multi-agent economy, has raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round. CyberFund led the round, joined by Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.
The funds will accelerate Questflow’s mission to create a 24/7 on-chain AI workforce designed to automate workflows for individuals and organizations while keeping human oversight for critical actions.
Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol for AI Collaboration
Questflow’s core technology, the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), allows AI agents to communicate, coordinate, and execute workflows directly on-chain in real time. It removes the silos between AI systems by enabling them to work together seamlessly, while ensuring human review for sensitive decisions.
“Our vision is to build an AI agent economy capable of powering any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “From solo creators to enterprise teams, everyone should have access to a reliable, transparent AI workforce that operates continuously.”
Connecting AI Through Task and Token Orchestration
Today, most AI agents are disconnected from blockchain networks. Questflow solves this challenge using two orchestration layers.
Task orchestration enables AI swarms to handle complex workflows across Web2 platforms like Google Workspace, Airtable, and Notion, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.
Token orchestration gives each AI agent an on-chain wallet, making it possible for agents to exchange micropayments and transact with one another in real time. This transforms AI agents into active economic participants within a decentralized ecosystem.
Early Traction and Expanding Ecosystem
Questflow has already gained recognition from a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was selected for Google for Startups and named Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
The company is also growing its partner ecosystem with Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, bridging both Web2 and Web3 environments for wider adoption.
The AI Workforce Flywheel
Questflow’s on-chain flywheel drives the growth of the AI agent economy through four interconnected steps:
- Create – Developers and creators can design, deploy, and monetize AI swarms using a no-code editor and SDK, each linked to an on-chain wallet.
- Use – End users can automate workflows with AI swarms while maintaining oversight for essential actions.
- Pay – Transparent, real-time micropayments ensure instant compensation for AI agents.
- Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms through tokenization, encouraging shared ownership and participation.
“Equipping AI agents with wallets is only the first step,” Xu added. “The real impact comes when agents can collaborate, transact, and earn autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”
Scaling the Future of AI Collaboration
With the fresh funding, Questflow will enhance its orchestration capabilities, launch ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for a wide range of real-world applications.
As AI and blockchain continue to converge, Questflow is positioned to unify previously disconnected AI systems and enable anyone to deploy an on-chain AI workforce that combines the dependability of software with the flexibility of human teams.
By enabling permissionless creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the groundwork for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents can transact, collaborate, and create value autonomously.
